Reported indianautosblog , Tuesday, March 12, 2014 , the two cars will use a new platform called the Toyota New Global Architecture ( TNGA ) .
With TNGA , the base will be much like the MQB platform which is used in a number of Volkswagen cars . By doing so , TNGA can also be attached to a variety of other Toyota cars .
In addition to Innova and Fortuner , Hilux Toyota also one that has not changed . All three are known to use the same platform to date , the IMV (Innovative International Multi -purpose Vehicle ) platform .
